Renowned Primatologist Jane Goodall, Ph.D., DBE, to Present Honors; Anderson Cooper to Host

“Green Carpet” Media Availabilities

    What:
      The Jane Goodall Institute Global Leadership Awards Celebration honors outstanding individuals and organizations that share Dr. Jane Goodall’s values, vision and commitment to making a positive difference in the world for all living things. Awardees embody Dr. Goodall’s spirit and the mission of the Jane Goodall Institute.

      This second annual event – presented by the Arlington, Va.-based Jane Goodall Institute – is an environmentally friendly celebration that incorporates eco-sensitive design elements; an organic, vegetarian menu; and even a walk down the “Green Carpet.”

      6:00–7:30 p.m. – VIP and General Receptions
      7:30–11:00 p.m. – Awards Presentation

    Notes:
      Media may park under the building. The closest parking area is in the “blue” section of the garage. The closest street entrance is on Pennsylvania Avenue by 13 1/2 Street. To enter, take the elevators to the 8th floor to the Rotunda. Media should bring photo identification. All visitors to the building must go through security either when entering the parking garage or when entering the building from the street.
