Best Anime Movie To Come Out in 2021: Finally, 2020 is going to end. Everyone wants to forget about this year. Well, 2021 is just around the corner. With new years comes new hope, new adventures, and well, New anime movies. So, we decided to make a list for you of all the confirmed anime movies that you should watch in 2021. So buckle tight and get ready.
7. Yuri!!! on Ice The Movie: Ice Adolescence
Yuri!!! on Ice The Movie: Ice Adolescence was supposed to release last year but was delayed to scale up the content. Fans accepted the change as it will help them get a movie that might exceed all their expectations. We think that this is the story where we can get some of Victor’s backstory as it is needed. Yuri was a unique anime that follows the life of a skater. Fans really loved the movie and we might not get a second season, but we sure as hell are getting the movie. The exact release date is yet to be revealed so we will update you as soon as we get some information.
6. Detective Conan Movie 24: The Scarlet Bullet
Detective Conan has been running for more than 2 decades now. But it has maintained its plot and pace and fans still love it. This movie will follow the case of Shuichi Akai’s kidnapping case at the World Sports Games (WSG). The movie will surely be interesting. The movie was supposed to release in 2020 but was delayed and will release in April 2021. The exact release date is yet to be revealed so we will update you as soon as we get some information.
5. Fate/Grand Order: Camelot -Wandering; Agateram
Watching Fate can be a pain. But if you have watched it you will surely be excited about the upcoming second movies of the project. The first movie was released earlier this month in Japanese theaters. The second film will be titled Paladin: Agateram. The two Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot movies adapt the Order VI story from the game itself. The specific release date for the second film is yet to be given. But the key visual reveals a Spring 2021 release. This means we can get the second film anywhere between April and May 2021.
The plot of the movie will be similar to the Order VI game. But we might get some additional scenes for the anime itself. One interesting thing in the key visual was that we can see Gareth on the far left, which means that we might get the ‘Make your choice’ scene for real. This is a big deal for the franchise fans. The poster might be referencing the Summoning of the Round Table.

4. Pretty Guardians Sailor Moon Eternal Part 1 & 2
The Sailor Moon duology was supposed to come out in September of this year but was delayed due to Coronavirus Pandemic. Well, it has been forever since we last saw our favorite characters on screen. Sailor Moon Eternal will be a two-part movie series. The movies are also known as Sailor Moon Crystal Season 4. Eternal series will cover the fourth volume of the manga that is Dream Arc which will include the Dead Moon Circus. The first movie will release on 8 January 2021 and the second one will release on February 11, 2021.
3. My Hero Academia: Third Movie
If you are a My Hero Academia fan, 2021 is for you. Not only you will get 5th season but also another movie of the franchise. We just hope that this movie doesn’t affect the quality of season 5. S4 was clearly impacted by Heroes Rising (which was amazing) so hopefully, they do the TV series justice. The film will be handled by the same staff as the previous three movies and will release in Summer 2021. The exact release date is yet to be revealed so we will update you as soon as we get some information.
2. Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon A Time
A new trailer was released by Khara of the upcoming Evangelion movie and It pretty much summed up the dark nature of the anime. Earlier this month, Studio Khara also confirmed the runtime of the movie, which will be 41 minutes and 16 seconds, excluding the end-credits. This movie will mark the end of the Evangelion series, which has been running for more than two decades now. The movie is scheduled to release on January 20, 2021. The movie will be emotional and heart wrecking, not because it is the last movie of the franchise but because that is what Evangelion is.
1. Gintama The Final
This movie will be the final saga in the Gintama series as well. It is definitely the end of an era for sure. Dragon Ball resumed after years, One Piece reaching its last arc(Allegedly), New generations of Naruto taking over and now Gintama and Evangelion ending. The movie’s main plot has not been revealed yet os we can’t say anything for sure. But the movie is being made with the full co-operation from Gintama writer Hideaki Sorachi. So, we can say that the movie will follow the last few chapters of the manga. The movie is all set to be released on January 8, 2021. It is revealed that this movie is “Finale” for real this time.
