It was just a matter of time before the third season would be announced. There was easily enough manga material for at least one season. It might not be the last season as the manga will still run for two more years. If you take 45 chapters a season, just like the previous two seasons we can easily get two more seasons. The second season of Kaguya Sama: Love is War premiered in April his year. The plot of the upcoming season is not revealed yet, but it will pick up from season 2. The director for the upcoming season will be returning Mamoru Hatakeyama and Yasuhiro Nakanishi will once again pen down the script of the show. Yūko Yahiro and Kei Haneoka will also return as the character designer and composer of the series. Mazaki Suzuki, Airi Suzuki, and Haruka Fukuhara will also return to perform the theme songs of the series.
