Lockdown updates: Is the deleted tweet from the government is a sign of extended lockdown?

Lock industry in TN severely hit due to COVID-19 lockdown

Lockdown updates: The demand for the continuation of the appropriate lockdown due to the Coronavirus across the country is gaining momentum. Many states have appealed to the Central Government to take a decision in this opinion. Some experts have also held the same view.

The Central Government is considering these suggestions. On the other hand, the news of the removal of the lockdown on Tuesday afternoon from the Twitter handle of the government portal MyGovIndia was described as ‘baseless’.

But the tweet was deleted within minutes. Whether deleting the tweet is a sign that the government is seriously thinking of increasing the lockdown.

Why did the government administrator delete the tweet?

MyGovIndia wrote to Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba that there were no plans to extend the 21-day lockdown. In the tweet, it was called a fact check.

The tweet was, “Lockdown extension claims are unfounded and the government has not yet issued any notification regarding this. Do not fall prey to such rumors.”

What happened in a few minutes that this fact check went wrong? The government handle has not given any clarification till the news is written about it.

Why there is a demand for increasing lockdown?

Many states favor lockdown extensions. Telangana CM KCR has clearly stated that it will be difficult to stop the virus from spreading due to the poor health infrastructure of the country.

He said that ‘I am in favor of the lockdown of the country even after 15 April. Because we can get out of the economic problem but we cannot save lives.

We will not be able to bring back the lives of our people. ‘ KCR even went so far as to say that lockdown is the country’s only weapon against the coronavirus.

KCR was the first to tell

Telangana Chief Minister K.K. Chandrasekhar Rao suggested extending the lockdown to 3 June. He cited a BCG report suggesting a lockdown by 3 June. He had appealed to PM Modi to feel free to decide to increase the lockdown.

Naidu said in gestures

Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu has also hinted at increased lockdown in gestures. He said that the third week is very important in getting out of the lockdown.

He said that whatever decision is taken after April 14, people should follow it as they have been doing till now. He said that the crisis of the economy may be a concern some other day but not on health.

Karnataka, and Maharashtra also in favor of the extension
The Kerala unit of the Indian Medical Association has written a letter to PM Modi demanding an extension of the lockdown for three weeks. The Government of Maharashtra has said that it is awaiting instructions from the Center and advisory of WHO.

The lockdown will be decided between April 10-14. Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa has also said that ‘as the situation is now, I don’t think the lockdown will end on 14 April.
This will end only when people fully cooperate and do not leave their homes. ‘ Uttar Pradesh is also less likely to remove lockdown.

Shivraj said lockdown will increase if needed
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh has also hinted to continue the lockdown. He told ANI, “People’s life is more important. The economy can be restored but how will we bring them back if people die?

That’s why we will increase the lockdown if needed. Depending on the circumstances To be decided upon. ” Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh.
