Historians say that after Genghis Khan’s death, his body was buried in a secret place so that no one could reach him.  It is also said that about 1000 horses were rushed over his grave so that there would be no remains after his burial and he was buried with a lot of gold and silvers so that he could perceive his wealth forever.

Genghis’ tomb is also linked to World War One: it is just a saying or truth, but this is what people here believe.  Many people believe that if anyone comes to know of Genghis’s tomb, the world will be destroyed.

The reign of Genghis’ tomb is also linked to the tomb of the 14th-century Ottoman-Mongolian ruler Timur Lung, which was dug up by Soviet archaeologists in 1941, and the Second World War began shortly after that.
