Women’s T20 World Cup: Team India may reach the World Cup final without playing
Reserve Day has not been kept in the ICC T20 World Cup knockout matches. Cricket Australia had requested ICC to hold Reserve Day in anticipation of rain in the semi-finals.
The ICC clarified its stand on the matter, saying, “We questioned this, and it is not at all in accordance with the playing conditions. We respect it because we had said the same thing earlier that we are having a tournament in Australia, Huh.”
India will reach in final if it rains.
The Indian team has won all four of its matches played in the tournament. India was on top in Group A, and if the game gets canceled due to rain, it will benefit them.
If the semi-final match could not be held due to rain, then according to the rules, the team that tops the group will reach the final. India and South Africa were on top of the group, so both will reach the final straight.
