Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke 27th July 2020 Written Updates: The episode of 27th July 2020 starts with Abir being accused by Ketki that he isn’t willing to attend her function and that’s why he is leaving, listening to which Abir gets stunned.
However, Parul tries to lighten the situation by telling Ketki that when she was about to be born, Abir and Kunal were young and prayed to God to get a sister. Abir adds to this and says that we were unaware at that time that we would do your bidaai one day.

Ketki asks Abir if he regrets his prayer now. Abir turns to Meenakshi and asks her to tell Ketki that it’s not true that he is leaving Ketki. Kuhu asks everyone to stop by saying that it’s only engagement today and we can’t cry so much from now.
Meenakshi agrees to what Kuhu said and asks Rajvanshi’s to make arrangements for Ketki’s function. Nidhi informs everyone that we are ready for engagement and will talk only about happiness while forgetting the fights. While Kuhu taunts Mishti, Abir assures that there won’t be any problem in the engagement. Meanwhile, Meenakshi thinks that she got an opportunity to find the secret of Mishti and Abir. At Varun’s house, his mother misses Karan and asks that they will take his picture along with them, to which Varun agrees.
Ketki and Varun’s engagement function starts. Varun asks Ketki to thank him as the engagement for which she was waiting for so long is happening. Ketki thanks him and asks how he managed to convince Abir. To this, he replies that he spoke to Mishti. Ketki asks if Abir is leaving because of Mishti while he asks her to dream about him only.

Meanwhile, Nirmala says that she will do everything for her sons while looking at Karan’s picture and adds that Karan would have been happy today. Varun tries to cheer her by saying that he is happy to which she says me too.
On the other hand, Kaushal and Nidhi are managing everything to which Mishti asks if she could help. Meenakshi checks something and gets shocked to see Abir approaching towards her. He informs that he got shagun and asks her to go and check it downstairs.
Meenakshi asks Abir not to leave as its time to send daughter not son to which Abir agrees, however, asked her to promise that Mishti won’t be accused of anything ever by her. Hearing that Meenakshi goes speechless and Abir asks her to leave it and see the gifts of shagun. Meenakshi agrees and goes with him. On the other hand, Parul brings flowers and gives them to Abir which makes him smile.
Kabir looks at Mishti while she is crying. To cheer her up, Mishti showers flowers on her and gives her balloons. Mishti thanks him. She recalls their moments however, shouts for her name, brings her back to present. Abir asks that he will go and see to which she says she knows what to do, so she will go. Abir thinks that once the engagement will be over, they will leave.
Meenakshi notices Kuhu and Nidhi murmuring and asks what’s happening. She further asks Kuhu regarding the Gudh plate. While Kuhu asks her about the number, Meenakshi says that they will discuss it later. Varun thanks Abir for convincing everyone for the early engagement to which Abir says thanks for understanding and that he feels guilty for missing the marriage function.
On the other hand, Meenakshi got to know that the Gudh plate has fallen to which she says that they don’t have much time. Parul sends someone to market to get a new plate, however, they see Mishti coming with the plate.
Parul and Nidhi say that she has saved them while Meenakshi thanks her. Parul says that because of Mishti, the engagement is happening to which Meenakshi says that because of Mishti engagement is happening so early. Parul comforts Mishti.
In the engagement function, Meenakshi handovers the gift while adding that Abir brings all the gifts. Nirmala interrupts by saying that Abir doesn’t seem close to family and he is leaving too. Abir says he will always be in their heart and brings the gift as his mom told her about the ritual. Meenakshi says that as Abir likes poetry and hence he has also become like one, sometimes we can’t understand him.
Nirmala apologizes and asks that Mishti seems fine then why he is leaving. Varun touches Mishti’s feet saying that she is his favorite. Parul adds that Mishti has prepared the Gud plate. Meenakshi asks to bring Ketki.
Varun says that if Karan would have been here, he would have been so happy and puts Karan’s pic there. Meenakshi prays for peace for his soul. Nidhi says it’s good that Varun brings Karan’s pic here. On the other hand, Abir worries to see the pic and thinks that it will be intolerable for Mishti if she looks at his picture and he can’t take a risk and have to move the picture from here. While Abir lights diyas, Abir switched on the fans. The picture fell down and breaks.
Hearing the sound Mishti asks what happened to which Parul tells her that Varun’s brother’s picture has fallen down. Varun picks the photo and asks how it has fallen down. Abir apologizes and asks him to put the picture in the car. Varun says that he will keep it. Abir follows him. Mishti relaxes Ketaki by saying that Abir will manage.
Ketki says that he will manage now, however, late he will leave. Kuhu asks her to smile. While Varun places the photo in the car, Abor apologizes once again. Varun tells him that he did it intentionally to which Abir gets shocked and the episode ends.
