However, this announcement was made in February with an exclusive video that the team put forward on the 50th anniversary of Vyjayanthi Films. Still, the news dropped that the team has roped in Deepika Padukone for the film. This project will finally mark Deepika Padukone’s Telugu debut, and the fans are going crazy over this news.

Speaking about this collaboration, Nag Ashwin said, “I’m very excited to see Deepika play this character. It is something no mainstream lead has done before and will be quite a surprise for everyone. This pairing of Deepika Padukone and Prabhas will be one of the film’s main highlights and the story between them, I believe that this will be something audiences will carry in their hearts for years to come.” Mahanati is gearing up to be a super blockbuster movie, no doubt.

Currently, Prabhas is waiting for another movie to release, Radhe Shyam, where he stars as the lead actor and a beautiful actress Pooja Hegde. It is said that in this movie, “Radhe Shyam,” Prabhas will be seen playing the role of a Palm leader, and this movie will be a love story set in the early times. Deepika Padukone will be seen with her Husband, Ranveer Singh in the film “83” by Kabir Khan. She is said to be playing the role of Kapil dev’s wife Romi Dev, and this film is based on India’s 1983 cricket World Cup victory. Deepika was also supposed to star in the remake of Anne Hathaway’s movie “The Intern” with Rishi Kapoor this year, but due to his untimely demise, there has been no word on the film yet.
