”How to Save America from the Woke Left’ is a major speaking event hosted by former Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence in Stanford, California. It is organised by the Stanford College Republicans in partnership with the Young America’s Foundation (YAF), a conservative youth organisation headed by Scott Walker, the erstwhile Governor of Wisconsin.

“For those of you who have been waiting in eager expectation, and despite the left’s failed attempts to stop us, SCR is happy to officially announce that we will be hosting Vice President Mike Pence at Stanford for what is our first major speaking event of the 2021-2022 school year.” – read a Facebook post by the Stanford College Republicans.
Ironically, the ‘woke’ left wing ideology that has recently gained momentum and is spreading throughout the country, first achieved ascendency at universities such as Stanford.
“The very ‘woke’ left-wing ideology currently spreading across the country first achieved ascendency at university campuses such as Stanford, so it is fitting to have the Vice President come and tackle divisive ‘woke’ ideology right where it started.” – stated the group’s financial officer, Stephen Sills.
Trump was “wrong”… says Mike Pence over 2020 election controversy
Pence recently made headlines when he called Trump ” wrong” during the 2020 election fiasco, for assuming that Pence had the right to reverse election results. He drew a lot of fire from Trump’s minions. The former vice president has most likely doomed his future political prospects by hitting out at Trump and enraging his supporters.
Still, Pence is among the less controversial speakers invited on campus by the college Republicans. The group has previously hosted commentators like Dinesh D’Souza and Ben Shapiro whose speech sparked protests. In 2017, UC Berkeley spent roughly $800,000 dollars on law enforcement when the college Republicans invited the infamous alt – right provocateur, Milo Yiannopoulos.

The ‘How To Save America from the Woke Left” event is scheduled for 17th February at the Dinkelspiel auditorium in Stanford, California. The event will start at 7 pm and will most likely last for an hour or two.
