The makers of the upcoming movie Phantom have unveiled the first look poster of the lead character of the film, Vikranth Rona played by Kichcha Sudeep. The character has been creating a lot of buzzes since Sudeep has shared a video of his look in the film July-mid when he resumed the shoot after the COVID-19 lockdown.
Earlier on Sunday, Director of Phantom, Anup Bhandari has announced that each and every character of Phantom will be introduced with a first look poster which will start with Sudeep’s character, Vikranth on 10th August at 10 am. The director made the announcement through a video that was shared on his Twitter handle.

Within a few hours of this announcement, Phantom is buzzing all over the social media as #Phantom started trending with more than 10k tweets. Fans and people from the Film fraternity also commented their excitement for the first look poster.
The first look poster of Sudeep depicts him being dressed in a rugged chic look while sporting a cap and semi casuals and sitting on a throne that reads ‘Welcome To The World of Phantom’.
Earlier, Sudeep has been sharing various tidbits from the film after resuming the shoot in mid- July. Recently, he shared a picture showing the costume of Vikranth Rona and glimpses from the shoot. The actor has showed his happiness to be back at work after over 3 months of lockdown. While sharing a video of his look, he wrote, “Putting on makeup today was an awesome feel. Felt I was on an elaborated holiday away from my passion. A passion called cinema. So here I am….. being,,,,,,, VIKRANTH RONA,,,again. #PhantomBegins”
He also informed that the entire team of Phantom is following the guidelines laid by the central as well as state government in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. He shared the pictures of the puja ceremony which was held in Annapoorna studios of Hyderabad depicting that everyone is wearing masks and every precaution are being taken care of by the cast and crew members.

Phantom is going to be the third film directed by Anup Bhandari as he made his debut with Rangitharanga in 2015. Phantom will also feature Shraddha Srinath, Nirup Bhandari. The film has been bankrolled by Manjunath Gowda and music has been composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath.
Sudeep will next be seen in the sequel to Kotigobba 2, which was released back in 2016. The film will be directed by Shiva Karthik and will feature Sudeep, Madonna Sebastian, Shraddha Das, Aftab Shivdasani, Nawab Shah, and P. Ravishankar in pivotal roles.
