Kannada movie Shivaji Surathkal is going to have its World Television Premiere on August 15, 2020, i.e. tomorrow at 7 pm. The movie which is also known as Shivaji Surathkal: The Case of Ranagiri Rahasya was released on February 21, 2020, across Karnataka.

The suspense thriller featuring Ramesh Aravind in the lead role as Shivaji Surathkal will be aired on the eve of Independence Day, i.e. tomorrow at 7 pm on Zee Kannada. Apart from Ramesh, the film also stars Radhika Narayan, Rekha, Arohi Narayan, and Vinay Gowda in pivotal roles.
Akash Srivatsa is the writer and director of the movie while Anup Gowda and Reka RN have produced bankrolled it. Judah Sandy has composed the music. Guruprasad is the cinematographer and the duration of the film is a little over two hours. After the success of the film, the makers have decided to make it a franchise and come up with its sequel.
The film has already got its digital premiere on August 7 on Zee 5. The actor Ramesh took to his Instagram informing about it. He has also thanked the audience for their love shown in theatres prior to lockdown.
Shivaji Surathkal World TV Premiere
The story is about Shivaji Surathkal who is a police officer. He is assigned with the case of Roshan Ravi who is the son of a powerful minister. Ravi has died under mysterious circumstances at a resort in Ranagiri. Due to his past experience, Shivaji initially hesitates to take the case as he doesn’t want to visit the resort. However, he ends up taking the case.
He along with a constable, Govind, visits the resort to collect the evidence. His personal life story and his wife’s death is also revealed with the development of the story. In the end, he succeeds in grabbing the criminals.
