That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Release Date, New Preview, Recap, Cast, Where to Watch?: The official website of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime released a new video. The new video was a 3-minute trailer of the upcoming season of the anime. The site also revealed some new cast members that will join the show.
“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” is based on a light novel of the same name. Fuse is the author of the light novel. But the anime specifically adapted the manga adaptation of the novel which was written by Taiki Kawakami. The first season of the anime released in October 2018 and was a significant hit. Fans complained a little bit about the pacing of the show, but it was nothing major as sort of, and overall the series was excellent. So, when season 2 was announced, people were excited about it.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Plot
The story revolves around a 37-year-old man named Mikami Satoru who was killed and was reincarnated as a slime named in a different world. This is a fantasy realm, and now he lives with his new existence in this world. But, his interactions or fights with different kinds of monsters set up a chain of events that changes his life and his whole world.
In season 2, we will see more progression in the story of Rimuru and his journey to become the Demon Lord. We will see if his followers and devotees will help him fulfilling his wishes or not if he becomes the Demon King. We will see how Rimuru will beat Clayman. And if he will beat Clayman by himself or if he will use the help of Veldora. Season 2 will also reveal the significant villain who was behind the destruction of Orc. And we will see further improvement in the war between the humans and the monsters.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Release Date
The series is all set to release on January 12, 2021, in Japan. Funimation will stream the English dubbed version from January 5, 2021. The anime will be divided into two cours and the second cour will release in July 2021.

Crunchyroll will stream the anime everywhere except Asia. Funimation will stream the dubbed version of the anime. It is unfortunate news for all the fans in India as there will be no legal site to stream the anime. But considering Netflix provided us the first season of the anime, we hope that they will give us the second season as well.
