There hasn’t been any announcement from the board regarding the result declaration, however, the TN Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan said on June 18, 2020, that the results are most likely to be released in the first week of July as the evaluation process of answer sheets are about to complete.

Students who are waiting for their TN HSC result 2020 can follow the below-mentioned steps to check their result online:
- Visit the official website of DGE, TN viz: tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.
- Click on the link of results which says Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2020 / Tamil Nadu HSC Result 2020.
- You will be redirected to a new page with input fields
- Enter registration number in the first field and date of birth in the second field.
- Click on the ‘Get Marks’ button to submit the details.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of the same for future reference.
Re-checking and re-evaluation:
Apart from the result declaration, the board will also announce the re-checking and re-evaluation process start date along with the charges involved. So if any students have any doubt regarding their marks, then he/she can opt for revaluation of the marks of that particular subject.
Students who failed to clear all the subjects and get qualified still have a chance as they can appear for the supplementary examination of those subjects conducted by DGE, TN. Once the result will be declared, the application for the supplementary examinations will be made available for the students on the official website of the board and need to submitted there itself along with fees.
