Kumkum Bhagya 28th July 2020 Today Episode Written Updates: The episode begins with Pragya entering the mall and getting emotional after looking at a doll that reminisces her as to how Kiara asks her to buy the doll and recalls her moments with Abhi. Her old friend Kammu bumped into her and asks the whereabouts of Prachi. Pragya tells her that she shifted to Delhi with Prachi and Shahana for their studies. Kammu asks her address, however, runs to take a selfie with Abhi after noticing him.
After taking selfies with Abhi, Kaamu asks him to have a selfie with her friend as she used to sing his personal collection that he has never released. Abhi gets amused and asks Kammu who also shrugs saying she is also unaware and takes him to the toy shop to search for Pragya. Meanwhile, Abhi notices the same doll and recalls his moments with Kiara and later notices Pragya there and follows her.

Taking Mr. and Mrs. Choubey aside, Dushyant asks them if they really care for Maya to which Coubey says that Maya is their only child and they are alive because of her. Dushyant then tells him that Prachi is after Ranbir and doesn’t want him and Maya to get married. Mrs. Choubey says that as she is Ranbir’s friend, how they will stop her. Dushyant asks them to tell Maya and make her understand to which everyone agrees.
Ranbir sees Prachi and relaxes that she will handle him. Shahana says it seems that something is going on in his heart. Prachi says that she is unable to understand anything and will leave if they will talk like this. While Ranbir stops her, Shahana teases her. Prachi is about to leave when they reveal that they have made Rahul agree to their plan.
Mrs. Choubey asks Prachi to come with her and she follows her. Shahana says that she isn’t feeling good and wishes if Pragya is here. Ranbir assures her that everything will be alright.
Pragya enters the lift while Abhi stops the lift with his foot and enters as well making Pragya surprised. Abhi hugs and kisses her. Both of them get emotional while shedding happy tears. As soon as the lift stops, they were seen hugging by a couple. Abhi coughs and they leave. With the lift starting again, he hugs Pragya once again.
On the other hand, Mrs. Choubey enquires as to how she knows Ranbir and his family. Prachi tells her that they were in the same college. Mrs. Choubey then asks her why she wants to break Ranbir and Maya’s marriage. Prachi clarifies that Maya is getting married to Ranbir because of her and tells that no one is going to be happy in this marriage.

Mrs. Choubey then warns Prachi and tells her to stay away from Ranbir. She further asks Prachi to make her meet with his mother so that she can talk to her and warn her about the consequences if they won’t follow their wishes.
Meanwhile, Pragya and Abhi get stuck inside the lift and accused each other of not attending the calls, however, both say that they hadn’t received any call from others. Pragya accused Abhi of being angry with her while telling him that now she doesn’t want to talk to him. Pragya notices that the lift is not moving to which Abhi says that it got stuck.
Prachi asks Mrs. Choubey what exactly the matter is to which she tells her that she is a normal girl while they hail from politics and are capable of doing anything to get her out of Ranbir’s life. Prachi clarifies that her friendship is way too old and she won’t break it because of her threats. She adds that she should stay away from her family and she will do the same in return. Mrs. Choubey tells her that it’s her last warning or else she will be separated from her family.
Prachi tells her that her mother has taught her never to throw the stone in a pit as it will come back to us and hence they need to clean it. She says that she isn’t scared and leaves. On the other hand, Pragya asks Abhi what to do as the lift got stuck. Abhi blames himself for all and asks that they should fight. Pragya says how come she called him while he is denying and the same happened with her as well.
