Harmeet Kaur Dhillon is an American attorney and political activist. She was born on October 1, 1969, in Chandigarh, India, and raised in rural Punjab. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1977 and settled in North Carolina. Dhillon earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Dartmouth College in 1989 and a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1993.

Dhillon began her legal career as a law clerk for Judge Paul V. Niemeyer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She later worked as an associate at several law firms, including Morrison & Foerster and Cooley LLP. In 2014, she founded her law firm, the Dhillon Law Group, where she represents clients in various civil litigation matters.
