Ugenti-Rita began her political career as the District 8 representative, serving consecutively from January 10, 2011, until January 14, 2013. Although she aspired to become the Secretary of State of Arizona in the 2022 election, she, unfortunately, lost in the Republican primary.

Born on June 28, 1980, in Scottsdale, Arizona, Ugenti-Rita pursued her education at Arizona State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration in 2004. After graduation, she ventured into commercial real estate as a dedicated agent.

Ugenti-Rita’s political journey commenced in 2010 when she was first elected to the Arizona House of Representatives. Subsequently, she was re-elected in 2012, 2014, and 2016.
