The actor Dylan Minnette who is playing Clay’s character has indicated that the show has a lot to give in now in this pandemic situation. In an interview with the media magazine, he said that season 5 could be based on the COVID-19 Pandemic and home quarantine of the characters and their problem though that is just an idea and nothing is confirmed.

There is no official announcement of the 13 Reasons Season 5. We are waiting for the hint from anybody but look like they aren’t in a mood to go with season 5. i think Dylan has a good idea for season 5, if there is going to be a season five. Dylan said something about covid – 19, yes it was hard I even fell into a hard stage of depression, If we go into this season maybe and can go into this and show how this impacted on some of the characters. Meaning what happened to them after they all finished high school and then it going into the season with covid. Im just throwing some ideas out there. But yes I can see a season 5 being about covid 19 . we can even see what has been going on with clay and tony and where they went after the show ended.
