2.43: Seiin High School Boys’ Volleyball Club Release Date, Preview And Other Details: If you are a fan of Sports Anime you here is a good news for you another good looking Sports Anime is going to air in some time. 2.43: Seiin High School Boys’ Volleyball Club is an upcoming High School Volleyball Anime based on the light novel of the same name written by Yukako Kabei and illustrated by Aiji Yamakawa. A manga adaptation by Yamakawa has been serialized since July 2018. And earlier this month it was announced that there will be an anime adaptation of the famous novel series too.

After causing trouble in the Tokyo Junior High School volleyball club, Kimichika Haijima had to move back to his hometown, Fukui. Here he is reunited with his childhood friend Yunii Kuroba, who is an outstanding physical athlete and is a really good volleyball player but he is a choker. He always is vulnerable under pressure. Haijima is really passionate about volleyball. And with the talent he posses he pairs up with Kuroba and he makes an ace combination with him.
They both enroll in Seiin High School where they meet new members of the team. Which includes their Captain Shinichirou Oda who is a hot-headed. Vice-captain Misao Aoki and his third-year pair. The team also includes some second-year students, one of them is Akito Kanno. With national tournament as their goal, the Seiin High School team becomes the dark horse of the Fukui Region. But reaching nationals will not be an easy task as many formidable contenders are standing between them and the nationals.

The anime adaptation of the novel series was announced on November 1, 2019. As of now the only detail about the release date of the anime we got is we will get the anime in January 2021. A 40-second trailer of the upcoming anime has been released and by the looks of the trailer, the animation is looking really good. It is giving an old school sports anime vibe, which was missing for a long time. This anime will start right after the end of the Haikyuu 4th season, so I think it is right on time and no volleyball will be missed from our life.
