Turning Point USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk. The organization’s mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government.
The organization is founded by Charlie Kirk and Bill Montgomery. TPUSA’s sister organizations include Turning Point Endowment, Turning Point Action, Students for Trump, and Turning Point Faith. The group also works closely with PragerU. According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, TPUSA “is now the dominant force in campus conservatism.”
What is TPUSA?

Turning Point USA hosts 6 National Summits and 8 Regional Conferences each year. Consistently attracting students from every state in the country. Turning point USA of December 2021
On Saturday evening, the conservative student activist organization, Turning Point USA, kicked off their multi-day winter gathering in Phoenix, Arizona.
This year it includes numerous country music concerts wedged in between right-wing speeches. The four-day “America Fest” affair will feature live performances from country music singers, including Brantley Gilbert, Dustin Lynch, and Russell Dickerson.
Significance in the conservative movement
“It’s a very ‘business in the front, party in the back’ scenario since you’re listening to the top speakers in the conservative movement during the day and partying with your favorite country artists at night,” Alex Clark, the host of a daily show on Turning Point USA’s Instagram and podcast pages, wrote in a blog post.
The TPUSA event is the latest in a slew of pro-conservative public events succeeding the History Tour.
These pro- conservative public events seem to be aimed at keeping the Trump ideology fresh in people’s minds until Trump can contest elections again in 2024.
“Since whole families will be coming and there is the concert element, you are free to dress more casually as long as you look appropriate!” Clark wrote. “Nothing too immodest, and I wouldn’t wear straight-up sweatpants or pajamas, but feel free to showcase your best southern or western-inspired outfits!”
Clark added that “personally” she’s going for a “glam-Western vibe.” I prefer to call it “White Lady Complaining About Mask Mandates at City Council Meeting chic.”
A Party for the pro-Trump league
Andre Soriano, the pro-Trump fashion designer, best known for the “Make America Great Again” dress Joy Villa wore to the 2017 Grammys, will also serve as a “TPUSA Ambassador” and has been hyping up the event on his Twitter and Instagram feeds. “Fashion, Glamour, Music and World Leaders!” Soriano promised in a tweet last month.
He also posted a photo with Rep. Lauren Boebert, who earned a Trump endorsement after she made an Islamophobic remark about congresswoman Ilhan Omar, writing, “So excited and can’t wait to see Our Amazing Congresswoman.”
