Asur Season 2 Release Date: With the increasing popularity of online streaming in India, the various OTT platforms, specifically local, are competing against each other to gain the maximum subscribers and viewers. Earlier, the online streaming platforms like Hotstar, TVF, Voot, MX Player, ALTBalaji, and several others were trying to position themselves while now they are standing against each other.
With various platforms, there are various contents attracting the audience and among them is a web series titled Asur that has gained immense popularity with its season 1.
Asur Season 2
Asur is Voot original crime thriller combining Hindu mythology with science. The web series has a very interesting concept, brilliant performance, commendable narration, mighty screenplay, and loads of twists and turns with suspense compelling you to finish it once you have started, helped it to gain popularity.
Talking about the success of season 1, one of the lead actors Barun Sobti almost confirmed the second season, however, with no further details. He, however, said that with the popularity that the first season got we can expect the second season sooner.
Asur Season 2 Cast
Asur has been created by Gaurav Shukla and directed by Oni Sen under the production banner of Voot Select. In the first season, Asur cast Arshad Warsi as Dhananjay Rajput, Barun Sobti as Nikhil Nair, Anupriya Goenka as Naina Nair, Amey Wagh as Rasool Shaikh, Ridhi Dogra as Nusrat Saeed Vishesh Bansal as Shubh and Sharib Hashmi as Lolark Dubey in the foremost roles.
It is believed that major characters will remain the same for the second season of Asur. However, Lolark Dubey dies in season 1 so Sharib Hashmi who played the role won’t be a part of season 2. Also, Amey Wagh who has been revealed to be Shubh at the end of season 1 will definitely be getting a bigger role.
Asur Season 2 Release Date Release Date
Talking about the next season of the crime thriller series, Asur season 2 is also going to be very exciting as who will win between Kalki and Kali. In season 1, everyone felt that he is caught auspiciously but it is not that, he is someone else who is still alive and doing all the work from the CBI office. Asur season 2 will definitely enhance the battle between the Sur and Asur i.e. the good vs evil.
The Asur season 2 is expected to be released in 2021. However, there isn’t any official announcement in this regard. We will update you once there will be any further announcements in this regard.
