UP gangster Vikas Dubey who has fled 8 days ago after mercilessly firing on the team of police officials who went to arrest him from his house and killing 8 police officials, has been arrested yesterday from Ujjain in MP. He was being brought back to UP today early morning when reportedly the police car met an accident and taking the advantage of the situation, Dubey allegedly snatched a weapon and tried to escape once again, however, this time he was killed in the encounter with STF (State Task Force) in Kanpur.
Since when the news of his encounter broke, everyone is considering it to be like a scene from a movie and even started putting their wishes of whom they want to see to portray the role of Vikas Dubey. Following the same, makers of the movie Bhonsle starring Manoj Bajpayee took to twitter to tell that they are planning to make a movie on the life of gangster Vikas Dubey.
Producer Sandiip Kapur took to twitter and wrote that what happened today is beyond dramatic experience, He even went on to offer Manoj Bajpayee to play Vikas Dubey in the film saying that he will kill it.
Confirming this with media, Sandiip Kumar said that the team is still in the planning phase and in talks with Manoj Bajpayee as well, however, the papers haven’t yet been signed. Sandiip further informed that Manoj has asked them to work on the film’s script as he will agree to play the character only if he is convinced with the script, story, and character as he usually does. Hence the makers will approach him to be on board for the film only after everything will be fixed.
Talking about how the film would be, the producer said that they themselves want a good story as producers and hence they will not leave any stone unturned while making the film. As the incident is fresh, Kapur is in search of an appropriate writer and director. He further added that once everything will be finalized, a formal announcement of the movie will be done.
Earlier some media reports revealed that Manoj Bajpayee has said that Vikas Dubey had a dramatic life and it would be interesting to bring the story on big screen, however, the script and character should be nice then it will be fun to essay the role of a real-life character on screen. Later Bajpayee took to twitter to inform that this news is totally wrong.
Talking about the wanted gangster Vikas Dubey, he was booked under 62 criminal cases including 5 murder and 8 attempt to murder cases. After being arrested from the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on Thursday, after 8 days of being in the run, he was killed in an encounter early Friday morning in Kanpur while being brought back to Kanpur from Ujjain. Two policemen have also been injured during the encounter.
