Fruits Basket Final Season Release Date, Preview, Cast, Plot And Where To Watch? The final season of Fruits Basket was announced right after the 25th episode of season 2. Fruits Basket is an anime based on the manga of the same name. The anime’s name comes from a popular game played in Japanese Elementary Schools. The series was first adapted as an anime in 2001 by Studio Deen. In 2019, Funimation produced the reboot of the anime. The reboot was released through the Crunchyroll-Funimation partnership. A second season was released in April 2020 and ended on Tuesday. It was already predicted that one more season will come in the near future, but to get it right after the second season is absolutely amazing. The fans are really happy that their favourite characters will be back on their screen. The last season will be titled as ‘Fruits Basket The Final’.
Fruits Basket The Final Plot
The story revolves around a high school student Tohru Honda, whose mother dies in a car crash. She finds out that her friends Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Soma are part of twelve members of Soma Family that are possessed by Chinese Zodiac animals. They have been cursed to turn into animals whenever they feel weak or when they are too close to a human of the opposite sex. The series progress and Tohru learn some dark secrets and all the problems that the Soma Family faces. She helps them to heal their emotional wounds and in return, all the members of the Soma family also get attached to her. This anime is a beautiful piece of art which can make you happy and sad at the same moment.
The season 1 adapted around 42 chapters from the manga. Whereas Season 2 adapted till 93-95th chapter of the manga. The season 3 will pick up from there. It will need another 25 episodes to give us the perfect conclusion without making the anime rushed.
