Gibiate Episode 2 Release Date, Preview and Spoilers: Crunchyroll is releasing quite a few original anime and Gibiate is one of them. Gibiate got released last week and it is a little surprising as just 2 weeks ago we also got an original by Crunchyroll, The God Of High School. And to release another original in the same by Crunchyroll is really good news for the fans. The main thing is that Crunchyroll has been in anime streaming business for a very long time and it knows what the fans really want and now Crunchyroll is giving it to them. Gibiateis kind of really unknown anime even in the fandom and most of the people didn’t know what to expect while watching the first episode.
And the first episode got really bad reviews, people complained about the character design, direction, animation and the blandness of characters. But it’s only the first episode and let’s not judge the anime so quickly and give it some time at least. And let’s look at the plot and other details of the anime.
Gibiate Plot
Gibiate is set in the year 2030, where a virus known as ‘Gibia’ has infected humans throughout the world. The virus turns the infected person into a monster based on their age, sex, and race. A Samurai and a Ninja travel through time to help a scientist who is working on the cure of the medicine. They have to help and protect the scientist from various threats like Gibia(Persons who are infected by the virus) and Outlaws that attack travelers for food. The journey is very dangerous and throughout the journey, many new secrets will be revealed.
To be honest I kind of liked the plot. It is really like our current situation, It is like if coronavirus had an anime. Even with this good plot, the anime was quite bland nonetheless. There were many things that made the anime’s first episode not really good. Bad CGI, characters being as charismatic as a plank of wood and the dialogues weren’t any impactful to the cause.

Gibiate Episode 2 Release Date
Episode 2 of Gibiate will release on July 22, 2020. A new episode will release every Wednesday if there is no change in the schedule.
Gibiate Episode 1 Recap
The first episode was a buildup and introduction episode for the most part. It showed us how the disease started spreading mysteriously and how fast it is spreading now.
It introduced us to one of the major characters Funada Kathleen who after seeing a plane getting crashed and destroying the city because a ‘GIbia’ ate the pilot, sworn that she will create a vaccine and will turn the world to normal. And meanwhile in 16oo AD Keicho Yera and Kanzaki Sensui are running away from their execution and suddenly face a monster and were thrown to the shore and when they woke up they met Funada and their journey will start from now.
Gibiate Episode 2 Predictions
The second episode will mainly focus on the three of them survival and finding a way to cure the disease. Well, the whole anime will be based on that but in the second episode Ninja and Samurai will get to know about the world and will make a decision if they want to help Funada or not.
