Given Movie Release Date, Plot, Preview, And Other Details: When Given Movie was announced 10 months ago it was trending third on twitter right after the announcement. Given is a movie based on the manga of the same name. The manga is written and illustrated by Natsuki Kizu. An anime was released in 2019 and it got a really good reaction. The movie is a sequel to the anime series and will release in 2020. At first, it was scheduled to be released in May but due to the current circumstances of the world, it was postponed.
Given Movie Plot
Given is a romance manga that focuses on four people in separate arcs. The first arc focuses on Guitarist Ritsuka Uenoyama and Mafuyu Satō and their relationship. Due to some circumstances in the past, Ritsuka has lost his interest in music when he heard Mafuyu Sato singing for the first time. His interest in the music grows again and he somehow becomes the Guitar teacher of Mafuya. One thing led to another and Ritsuka invites Mufyu to the band and they perform for the first time.
The second arc is based on Drummer Akihiko Kaj and Bassist Haruki Nakayama. Haruki develops feeling for Akihiko, but things get complicated when Akihiko is still involved with his ex-boyfriend and things are getting more complicated as they have to perform at the music festival.

The movie is the sequel of the anime, so the movie should show us the future of Akihiko and Haruki. The main focus of the movie should be these two, as it was the case in the manga itself. If going by the manga we will see huge developments in the relation of Akihiko and Haruki and we are advising you to take tissues with you, as you will have to wipe those tears after the end of the movie.

Given Movie Release Date
The movie was announced on September 19, 2019. It was first scheduled to release on May 16, 2020. But due to the COVID outbreak, it was postponed and on April 13, 2020, it was announced that the movie will release on August 22, 2020. Now, that everything is sorted and done, we don’t think there will be another delay in the release date of the movie, but if anything happens, we will update you here as soon as we get any information.
Given Movie Preview
As of now two trailers of the movie have been released and both of them are looking so good. The animation is looking sick and we can surely say that the soundtrack of the movie will be as good as the anime if not better.

The movie will be available on FujiTV midnight programming block Noitamina and considering the anime was on Crunchyroll the movie should be available on Crunchyroll too for online streaming.
