Post lockdown and after getting permission from the government, several Indian TV shows and films have resumed their shootings as the country is under the unlock phase with the government giving relaxations gradually in the nationwide lockdown imposed by the government to combat the coronavirus.
However, with the COVID-19 infections spreading rapidly, many celebrities have been tested positive for the virus. The most recent to added in the list is Shrenu Parikh who is popularly known for her role in Star Plus’s hit show Ishqbaaz. The 30-year old actress has been tested positive for coronavirus and is currently admitted in a hospital in Gujarat as she was currently staying in her hometown Vadodara in Gujarat.
The actress herself confirmed the news via a post on her Instagram account in which she said that she said that the bugger hasn’t spared her as well as she was diagnosed corona positive a few days back and now is recovering in the hospital. She asked to pray for her as well and thanked the corona warriors who are fulfilling their duties in such scary times as well.

She further added that she had been very careful and still the virus caught her and urged everyone to be careful and save themselves. However, there isn’t any information about her family member being infected or not.
As soon as the post was shared, the post was flooded with comments from her fans and fellow actors. Actor Prachee Shah, Navina Bole, Jigyasa Singh, and Tina Phillip wished her a speedy recovery while actor Roop Durgapal asked her to stay strong and that she will be fine soon. Several of Shrenu’s fans also wished her speedy recovery in the comments

Shrenu has made her debut in the TV industry with Star Plus’ Gulaal in 2010. She has also featured in TV shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?... Ek Baar Phir in 2013-2015 and Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna in 2019.
Prior to Shrenu, Ishqbaaaz actor Additi Gupta was also tested positive earlier this month to which she told that she locked herself as soon as she lost her smelling sense and after the test came out to be positive, she is staying quarantined at her home from more than a week.
Earlier, Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Parth Samthaan has also been tested positive after which he took to Twitter to inform and also urged the people who came in contact with him to get themselves tested. He is also home quarantined and asked everyone to stay safe. After the news broke out the shoot of the show has been stopped and those who came in contact with him were asked to get tested for the coronavirus.
