Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has begun the application process for class 10th and 12th compartment exams. Students who were unable to pass in one or more subjects have this opportunity to give a re-exam and get qualified in them.
Such students can apply for the compartment exams by filling the application form in online mode only at the official website of JAC i.e. jac.jharkhand.gov.in. Students will be able to apply in 3 subjects including the optional subject for compartment exams.

The last date to apply for the JAC compartment exams is 25th August for class 10th, while it is 26th August 2020, for class 12th.
How to apply for JAC Class 10th and 12th Compartment Exams 2020 online
The students who are going to apply for the Jharkhand Board class 10th and class 12th compartment exams, can follow the below-mentioned steps and apply.
- Visit the official website at jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Click on the link that reads Compartmental Secondary Exam 2020
- You will be re-directed to compartment exam dashboard, click on the student’s information sheet
- Download and take a print of the sheet
- Fill up the details in the form
- Submit the duly filled information sheet to your respective school for online data submission.
- Pay the application fee through bank challan
Application Fee for Jharkhand Board Class 10th & 12th Compartment Exam 2020
Students will have to pay an application fee of Rs 80. Students who want to appear in one examination will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 and those who want to apply for two or more will have to pay Rs 180 for class 12th. The examination fee for class 10th is Rs 125. Both class 10th and 12th students will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 30 and Rs 90. Apart from this, a late fee is Rs 250 for Class 10th and Rs 300 for Class 12th has to be paid by the students.
Hence, class 10th students need to pay Rs. 775 for irrespective of the number of subjects up to 3. Class 12th students will have to pay Rs 850 for 1 subject while Rs 930 is to be paid for 2 or more subjects.

The application for the compartment exam 2020 will be considered complete only when students will pay the required fee within the set deadline. Hence, students are advised to pay the application fee through bank challan while submitting the application form at their respective schools on or before 25th August for class 10th and 26th August for class 12th.
Jharkhand Board has earlier announced the result for class 10th on July 8 with 75.01% pass percentage of students while class 12th result was declared on July 17 with 77.37% pass percentage of students.
