Choreographer-turned-actor and then actor-turned-director Raghavendra Lawrence aka Raghav Lawrence had the same dream of directing Akshay Kumar in Hindi cinema, as did his senior’s Bhagyaraj to direct Amitabh Bachchan.

It is a different matter that while trying to make a Hindi remake of his own film ‘Muni 2: Kanchana’, its director Raghav Lawrence understood that Hindi cinema is not as disciplined as South. Here the hero of the film is the star around which all the planets of Mumbai division and their satellites revolve.

It is not known how much Raghav Lawrence saw Hindi cinema, but Hindi cinema watchers have seen as much as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam movies dubbed in Hindi in recent years, it is ‘Singham’ and ‘Simba’ made in South Indian style. For films like this, a loving atmosphere is created.

‘Lakshmi’ is also a film that follows the same pattern, there is no grown-up like director Rohit Shetty who picks up the story of South, kills Masala Marathi, and gives the film a pan-Indian look.

‘Laxmi’ is a real film depicting the imitation of Akshay Kumar’s acting, first known as Khiladi Kumar and then trying to become the second Bharat Kumar. Here the entire title of the film is on Akshay Kumar. Kiara is Advani but just to look beautiful. Ayesha and Ashwini have got more footage from them.

Well, as Dastur is, first you have to tell the story of the film ‘Laxmi’. If you have seen ‘Muni’, ‘Kanchana’, ‘Ganga’ and ‘Kali’ after being dubbed in Hindi, then ‘Laxmi’ will be a very second-rate film. The work that its director Raghav Lawrence did in real films as an actor himself is seen here trying to do Akshay Kumar, pulling the veins of the throat and showing the white chest hair.

The story is of Asif this time. Where do you think Akshay Kumar and his character’s name Asif? However, Akshay has mastered his ability to get his direction before the wind turns. If not sure, then Priyanka Chopra and Aditi Rao Hydari can ask.

But, clever Akshay has fallen face this time. When Akshay, who was the first to shoot for his film ‘Two Yards, Masks Required’ at the end of the lockdown, came to Delhi for his film and did not think it necessary to come two yards or apply masks, then The audience was beginning to understand what could be the reason for such a disdain for the film.

After the film ‘Sadak 2’, Disney Plus Hotstar has shown this second consecutive weak film to its customers who do not come to watch movies like MX Player for free. It is no less than a challenge to see the film served to these customers who paid movies as ‘Lakshmi’.

Randomly runaway cameras imitated musicians like Tanishq Bagchi, overexposed photography and headache-causing background music. Every department of the film ‘Laxmi’ has come up with a challenge in itself, if you have the courage in front of the audience, then show it by watching the film completely.

Despite this, for those who have seen the film completely, the year-long subscription of Disney Plus Hotstar should be made free for this bravery.

The story of the film ‘Lakshmi’ is the story of a Kinnar Lakshmi who is killed by a leader and his henchmen. His refugee and the child of this refugee are also killed. The souls of these three come together in Asif’s body. Doing them is what the story demands.

But, what is in the story before this can be a test to check the effect of spring. Akshay Kumar has done a lot of acting in the entire film. In his younger days, he used to balance his screams in movies like ‘Hera Pheri’ with actors like Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal, but in old age, he has his own support. There is no other artist in the film who can accommodate his spread Raita.

From fellow actors, Rajesh Sharma to Manu Rishi Chadha, Ayesha Raza Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar are all victims of overacting. Both songs in the film are very boring and only disturb the story. After Sharad Kelkar appears in the story, there is some rasa too, but by then it is too late.

At the beginning of the week, Disney Plus Hotstar has not been able to bear the brunt of the mood of its customers, ‘Bhuj – The Pride of India’ and ‘The Big Bull’.
