MTV Roadies Revolution 12 July 2020 Written Updates: After 3 months of lockdown that was imposed by the government to combat the novel coronavirus, the government has started giving relaxations in the lockdown, and with it comes to the relaxation for the entertainment industry which is allowed to shoot, however, the government guidelines must be followed.

After getting the permission many shows have started shooting and their episodes have started being telecast on the respective channels. One such show that has always entertained its audience is MTV Roadies. The controversial Indian reality show is running its 18th season successfully on MTV and is called MTV Roadies Revolution that was first premiered on February 15, 2020, and has started being on-air post lockdown from 27th June, every Saturday at 7 PM.

The show can also be streamed online on Voot and if you are Voot Select member then you can even see the episode prior to its telecast on television. This year is about standing for path-breaking social issues i.e. what the contestants have done or are willing to do for a social cause that is both challenging and for the welfare of the society.
MTV Roadies Revolution Contestants
The contestants need to prove that with their passion and courage they are determined to stand for what is right and will make it happen and in this way, they will prove why they are fit for this season. Also, it is first time in the history of Roadies that there were LIVE auditions through social media platforms from Aril 27 to June 17, 2020.
The show is being presented by Ranvijay Singh while Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, Raftaar, and Nikhil Chinapa are the leader of the 18th edition of MTV Roadies. There are reports that this year there might not be any gangs and instead, the player will have to battle and survive on their own, while in the earlier season we have seen that the contestants are divided into gangs for which they had to play and the individual survival was battled at the end.

Post lockdown, the first episode saw Ashish who impressed the leaders with his calisthenics and music initially, however, his viewpoints enraged the leaders and had to leave. On the other hand, Aayushi shared her journey of battling with depression successfully while taking care of her alcoholic brother and being the only bread earner of the family, who won everyone’s heart. The third notable contestant Smita shared her struggle to deal with bullies and her being bi-sexual got the leader’s emotional.

In today’s episode of MTV Roadies Revolution, we will witness for the first time that four contestants from four different states and backgrounds will come together for the audition to prove themselves fit in for the revolution. It has been introduced as a twist by Ranvijay for the leaders to vote for a contestant whether or not he/she will be chosen. The leaders are allowed to vote for two contestants which will be counted as their 2 chances of the vote that they have. It will be interesting to see who will be chosen out of the four contestants and secure their position for the Culling Round.
