Subsequently, Gordon was elected to a full term in 2014. Born on March 14, 1957, in New York City, Mark Gordon spent his formative years on his family’s ranch in Johnson County, Wyoming. He pursued higher education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History from Middlebury College in 1979.
Following graduation, Gordon engaged in various occupations, including working as a ranch hand and a commercial pilot. He also served as a member of the Wyoming National Guard. In 1985, Mark Gordon founded the Mark Gordon Company, a natural resources consulting firm, where he served as president and CEO until 2012.
