Sailor Moon Eternal Release Date, Preview, and Cast Announcement: If you were following Sailor Moon manga and were thinking when the anime will drop, your wait is going to end in some time. The movie was set to launch in September 2020, but because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the release date of the movie has been postponed. Sailor Moon Eternal. Well, it has been forever since we last saw our favorite characters on screen. There was no information about anything regarding anything related to sailor moon, so when the news came out, fans were really excited. This is the first sailor moon movie in 24 years.
Sailor Moon Eternal Plot
Sailor Moon Eternal will be a two-part movie series. The movies are also known as Sailor Moon Crystal Season 4. Sailor Moon Crystal covered the first 3 volumes of the manga and now the Eternal series will cover the fourth volume of the manga that is Dream Arc which will include the Dead Moon Circus. The original Sailor Moon anime was really famous in 9os. But in 2014, Toei Animation releases Sailor Moon Crystal, which was more faithful to the manga, as the first series was filled with so many cannon episodes. Season 3 of the anime came out 4 years ago. Fans were really excited for the next season as it will really focus on fan-favorite Sailor Saturn and her transformation. A more detailed plot of the movies is yet to be revealed and we will update you as soon as we get some information about it.

Sailor Moon Eternal Release Date
The first movie was set to be released on September 21, 2020, and no details were given about the details of second installments, but due to Coronavirus Pandemic, both of the movies have been delayed to January 2021. The first movie will release on 8 January, 2021 and the second one will release on February 11, 2021.
Sailor Moon Eternal Cast
The main cast of the movie was already revealed and yesterday the official Sailor Moon website also announced the official voice cast of the Amazon Trio. The original cast from the Sailor Moon Crystal anime will return, so fans have another thing to be happy about.

- Hisako Kanemoto as Ami Mizuno / Sailor Mercury
- Rina Satou as Rei Hino / Sailor Mars
- Ami Koshimizu as Makoto Kino / Sailor Jupiter
- Shizuka Itou as Minako Aino / Sailor Venus
- Misato Fukuen as Chibi-Usa / Sailor Chibi Moon
The new announced Amazon Trio cast are:-
- Shouta Aoi as Fish Eye
- Satoshi Hino as Tiger’s Eye
- Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Hawk’s Eye
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka is also part of the movie and will play Helios/Pegasus.
The cast of the movie is really strong, with every actor has already been in some solid roles.
The movies will be directed by Chiaki Kon(Who also directed Sailor Moon Crystal), Kazuko Tadano will handle the character design, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu will be the in charge of the script and Manga Writer Naoko Takeuchi will supervise the movie as well. Toei Animation and Studio DEEN will be producing the movies.
Sailor Moon Eternal Preview
A preview of the movie has already been released in June and the trailer really gave a nostalgic vibe to the fans who have been watching the anime for a long time.
