Shah Rukh Khan And Deepika Padukone To Reunite For New Film: The superhit duo of Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan are all set to be paired once again on the big screen. The duo was last seen together in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year in 2014 and will now be hitting the big screen in filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s next directorial.
Siddharth Anand, who has directed Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War, is all set to direct an action extravaganza. The upcoming movie will be bankrolled by Producer Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. According to the reports, Shah Rukh Khan has already given a nod to the project, while Deepika recently came into the picture and will be making this announcement very soon.

As per a leading entertainment portal, Deepika has given her nod to a big YRF film and will be seen romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand’s next actioner. However, the agreement on paper is yet to be done. Meanwhile, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates are yet to be finalized and locked. As of now, the actress has liked the script as it has a powerful female lead role.
Reportedly, the big project’s announcement was scheduled to be made at the 50 years’ grand celebration of Yash Raj Films’, however, due to the prevailing situation due to COVID-19 pandemic the makers had to change the plans. However, now this project will be among the YRF 50 announcement list that the production house will be going to make on the eve of Yash Chopra’s birthday on 27th September.
Talking about the duo, Deepika marked her debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om in 2007, which was liked by the audience and the movie was also a blockbuster. The diva caught everyone’s attention and soon rose high. She reunited with King Khan in Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express and Farah Khan’s Happy New Year.
Talking about the work front, Deepika will be seen sharing the screen with her husband Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan’s sports drama ’83. She has also been roped in a project with Baahubali star Prabhas which will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. She has also made an announcement to produce the remake of the movie ‘The Intern’ while playing the lead role as well. If the things are finalized, the duo will once again entertain the audience.
