G. V. Prakash Kumar composes the music and background score for the movie Soorarai Pottru, and he is working with Suriya for the first time. Sony Music India has acquired the audio rights of the movie. At the same time, the lyrics for the Tamil version penned down by Snehan, Yugabharathi, Vivek, Arunraja Kamaraj, Yogi B, Ekadesi, Maya Mahalingam, and Arivu. The first single track and a theme song titled “Maara Theme” was released on the 24th of January 2020.
