Steps to watch Steve Bannon’s War Room on Roku!

67-year-old Stephen Kevin Bannon is an American media executive, political strategist, and former investment banker who served as the White House’s chief strategist in the administration of  President Donald Trump during the first seven months of Trump’s term. He is a former executive chairman of Breitbart News and previously served on the board of the now-defunct data-analytics firm Cambridge Analytica.

Early days of Bannon’s career

Bannon was an officer in the United States Navy for seven years in the late 1970s and early 1980s. After his military service, he worked for two years at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker. In 1993, he became acting director of the research project Biosphere 2. He became an executive producer in Hollywood and produced 18 films between 1991 and 2016. In 2007, he co-founded Breitbart News, a far-right website that he described in 2016 as “the platform for the alt-right.”

Bannon’s Association with Trump

In 2016, Bannon became the chief executive officer of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and was appointed Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor to the President following Trump’s election. He left the position eight months later and rejoined Breitbart. In January 2018, Trump disavowed Bannon for critical comments reported in the book Fire and Fury and left Breitbart

Bannon’s Recent controversies

In August 2020, Bannon and three others were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and money laundering in the We Build the Wall campaign. The defendants allegedly enriched themselves, despite promising that all contributions would build a wall. Bannon pleaded not guilty and was pardoned by Trump before his trial date.

In November 2020, Bannon’s Twitter account was permanently suspended after he suggested that top government infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray be beheaded. Bannon was held in contempt of Congress in October 2021 after defying a subpoena by the House of Representatives committee investigating the 2021 United States Capitol attack. He was indicted by a federal grand jury on two criminal contempt charges on November 12, 2021, and turned himself to authorities three days later.

Bannon’s War Room

Bannon spent much of the following year rallying support and promising political candidates, both domestically and abroad, to back his populist plan, a process captured in the 2019 documentary The Brink by director Alison Klayman.

That October, as the impeachment inquiry of President Trump was gaining steam in the House of Representatives, Bannon launched a new radio show, War Room: Impeachment, from the basement of his Capitol Hill home. As co-host of the daily program, Bannon aimed to push the president and his allies toward adopting a more aggressive, focused approach to combat the severe charges raised by House Democrats.

War room: Pandemic

While War Room: Impeachment focused on the allegations by Democrats and ways to combat them, War Room: Pandemic is centered around glorifying Trump’s management of the pandemic situation. It also focuses on taking apart the Biden administration of the pandemic for faults and extrapolation of said faults. Miniscule mistakes which fall under the category of human errors by the Biden management have been grossly exaggerated to look like demonic misdemeanors on the podcast while letting Trump’s horrifying blunders slide.

One such example is the fact that Opinion polling conducted in mid-April 2020 indicated that less than half of Americans trusted health information provided by Trump. That they were more inclined to trust local government officials, state government officials, the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Trump’s public optimism throughout the pandemic at times diverged from statements by health officials. He also downplayed the severity of the situation and understated the time required for making a vaccine.

The Washington Post

The Washington Post stated,” Trump’s pronouncements as having “evolved from casual dismissal to reluctant acknowledgment to bellicose mobilization” throughout the pandemic. Though Trump “occasionally adopted health officials’ more cautious tone,” the optimism that dominated his early response “hadn’t completely disappeared,” Trump has downplayed the threat of COVID-19 over 200 times.”

President Joe Biden signed 12 executive orders targeting the virus during his first few days in office. Some included travel restrictions that were put in place by Trump during his term. What ensued in his first few months in office was a long and exhausting battle. The battle against one of the most challenging situations ever to be faced by a newly elected US president.

Thus, it is evident that Trump went about tooting his horn with exaggerated claims regarding his administration’s proactiveness during the pandemic. Biden played an essential role in curbing its spread. He did not shy away from adopting measures that Trump put in place to serve the people in those troubled times. Anyone’s guess is whether Trump would have done the same if the roles were reversed. If it proves to be a difficult guess. One may take a look at the glorious Biden smear campaign that has been ensuing ever since he came into office.

How to watch Steve Bannon’s podcast?

War Room” is a six-days-a-week alternate reality akin to Trump’s banned Twitter account revived in audio form. In the War Room fantasyland, Trump won the 2020 presidential elections, and his victory was ripped from his hands by a sprawling list of cheats and deceivers.

In episode after episode, War Room elaborates how the election was stolen from Trump. One of his regular guests is Mike Lindell, the pillow businessman who makes claims regarding fraudulent elections so ludicrous that Fox has refused to air ads that have invoked them.

The podcast is available on Google Podcasts and Apple Podcasts.

  • Young man I’m glad you’re a passionate journalist. But, based on your obviously biased review of the Warroom, I would guess you’re a young man who actually believes the cov** Vax is good for you and the election was legit. Please know I am not bashing you and, certainly not defending Bannon. Merely providing you a helpful nudge in the direction truth. Look deep and follow your instinct instead of stating what someone from CNN (or Fox) said. I assure you, the world is not what you think it is.
