Christopher Nolan’s Tenet Got Delayed Again? New Release Date Check Here: The prevailing conditions caused by the novel coronavirus outbreak have brought the entire globe to a halt as the world is under shutdown in order to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ongoing pandemic has affected every segment of society and so has affected the entertainment industry globally. Schedules for the release or shoot of movies have been changed hitting a huge blow to the industry. While some filmmakers have moved to the OTT release option for their movies, some are still waiting for the lockdown to be over to release their home theatrically.

Christopher Nolan’s Tenet Got Delayed Again?

Hollywood was hoping to return to big theatrical release with Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, however, as the movie has once again postponed its release due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and thus ending the hope of the Bollywood filmmaker.

Tenet starring Christopher Nolan was slated to release on August 12, however, after reviewing the current situation the big theatrical release was canceled, and thus the release of the sci-fi thriller was further postponed indefinitely by the makers. However, the makers and studio have announced that the new date will soon be out for the Nolan starrer movie.

The Warner Bros. production has already been postponed twice as it was originally scheduled to be released on July 17 but pushed to July 31 and then further to August 12.

Tenet, the latest film from the Oscar-nominated director of a trilogy including Dunkirk, Inception, and Dark Knight, is an espionage thriller involving time inversion and stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Kenneth Branagh, Elizabeth Debicki and Michael Caine.

Christopher Nolan’s Tenet New Release Date

Nolan himself has himself been vocal to release Tenet in theaters instead of the digital release. As per the Hollywood Reporter, the movie needs to earn $400 million globally. Meanwhile, after Warner Bros., the other major studio Disney has its movie scheduled in the next 6 weeks, The New Mutants and Mulan, will also be likely to postpone.

Apart from Tenet, the other Warner Bros. release, Conjuring 3, has been postponed to next June, as per the announcement from the studio. As the coronavirus cases are rising rapidly in the U.S. it is unlikely that any movie will get a big theatrical release till September as of now. Let’s hope for the best that the COVID-19 pandemic will be controlled and over very soon so that we will be able to get back to our normal life and watch movies like Tenet on the big screen.
