Abhishek Bachchan strarrer The Big Bull Release Date, Cast, Trailer, & Details: Although the country is in the phase of the unlock, the novel coronavirus pandemic is still there growing. Hence to ensure the safety of the people, the government has decided to keep the theatres shut until the next orders. Considering this, the film industry has now turned towards the OTT platforms like Disney Plus Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, etc., to release their films digitally during the ongoing lockdown.

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan and AyushmannKhurrana starrer ‘GulaboSitabo’ was released on Amazon Prime video in June 2020 and following the same several other movies are also going to be released soon on various OTT platforms. Joining the league in the latest is Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘The Big Bull’ which is going to have its digital release on Disney Plus Hotstar.
However, the release date of the film is yet to announced. The movie is directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn and AnandPandit. The star cast of the film includes Ileana D’Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Soham Shah, and others. During the Disney Plus Hotstar’s virtual press conference on Monday, Abhishek Bachchan revealed the new poster of ‘The Big Bull’.
Upcoming movies on Ott Platform
When asked about reuniting with Ajay Devgn as a producer, the Guru fame actor said that it’s their second film as Ajay Devgn Films have been the producer of BolBachchan as well and he always feels great while working with them. The actors also thanked the producers for considering him for the role and showcased his trust over them.
The first look of the movie was released earlier in January 2020 with the tagline “The man who sold dreams to India”. Talking about the story, the film is believed to be inspired by the Harshad Mehta securities scam of 1992. Speaking about the story Jr Bachchan called the ‘The Big Bull’ rags to riches story and said that the story isn’t historical and revolves in the late 1980s and early 1990s in Mumbai. He further added that the story has a message that if you are ambitious and work in the correct direction then you will achieve your goal for sure.
Disney Plus Hotstar
Meanwhile, as a part of Disney Plus Hotstar Multiplex, the first movie to be released on the OTT platform is late Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie “DilBechara”, which will start streaming from July 24, 2020. To pay a tribute to the late actor, Hotstar has decided to make the movie available to its non-subscribers as well.
Apart from this, Superstar Akshay Kumar’s “Laxxmi Bomb”, “Sadak 2”, featuring Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt-starrer “Bhuj: The Pride of India”, VidyutJammwal’s “KhudaHaafiz” and “Lootcase”, featuring KunalKemmu and RasikaDugalwill also be releasing on Disney Plus Hotstar between July and October 2020.
