The Kapil Sharma Show New Episode Date & Time: With the nation-wide lockdown imposed by the Indian government across the country to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic, all the industries including the entertainment industry came to a halt from March-end. However, the government has now started giving relaxations in the lockdown during the ‘Unlock’ phase, and thus permission for shooting for the shows, movies, web-series, etc., has been given by the government but with some restrictions and certain guidelines to be taken care of.
Several shows have already resumed their shooting while some even have started airing them too. Adding to the list of such shows is the popular comedy show- The Kapil Sharma Show. According to the reports, the host of the show, Kapil Sharma is planning to start the shooting for its new episodes from mid-July. Now the latest buzz which is surfacing around is that Kapil is going to host Sonu Sood for the first post-lockdown episode.

The sources revealed that the makers are planning to invite COVID-19 warriors in the show as a new concept for the time being. Apart from this, the team has started working on the script for the first episode of post-lockdown. The discussions and planning are being done through video conferencing and the team is also going to remove the section where the audience was invited to chat with Kapil or the celebrity guest of the show. The move has been taken in accordance with the set guidelines of the government for safety and social distancing.
The reason for inviting Sonu Sood as the guest for the first post-lockdown episode is because of his deeds during the negative time of lockdown. Sonu has helped thousands of migrants stuck in different states by arranging transportation so that these people can reach their homes safely. This noble deed by Sonu has earned him a lot of respect and appreciation from everyone around the country.
Though there haven’t been any official confirmation from the show’s makers, team, or Sonu, the rumors are doing a lot of buzzes around.
Earlier, it was reported that Kapil is going to resume the shoot from June 24 with Sonu Sood being the first guest post-lockdown. However, comedian Bharti Singh who is an inevitable part of the comedy chat show had quashed the reports and told that considering the situation, Kapil himself has requested to wait till June 30, 2020. Bharti also confirmed that even the production house hadn’t called anyone at that time, however, after sitting at home for over 3 months everyone is keen to get back to sets and resume their work. Bharti also said that shooting for the show will be difficult as there will not be any audience and furthermore, no movies are set to hit the floor as of now.
