The New Prince of Tennis: Hyōtei vs. Rikkai: A good news for all the Prince Of Tennis fans is that the official twitter account just announced the release date of the upcoming movie The New Prince Of Tennis: Hyotei Vs. Rikkai. The New Prince Of Tennis is a sequel of the fan-favorite and loved Prince Of Tennis. Prince Of Tennis has a manga run from 1999 to 2008 and anime started from 2001 to 2005 with two other movies and even a live-action movie.
After that Konomi launched The New Prince Of Tennis manga in 2009. and the anime started in 2012. The sequel might lack the consistency and sometimes it looks like that the sequel is living on just the steam of the original manga, but if you watch it you will see that it is really a decent anime that you should watch, much fast-paced, too many characters and all the players are too overpowered now. It looks like the creators want to make the stakes feel really high.
The New Prince of Tennis: Hyōtei vs. Rikkai Plot
The new Prince Of Tennis focuses on the story after the nationals. Ryoma comes back from America because he received an invitation to the Under-17 camp in Japan. Not just Ryoma, 50-other middle schoolers were invited to the Japan Camp. The battle starts as only the top 20 players will be able to play for the Japanese team. During the camp, the players meet their old rivals, captains, and many more people who will define their future and the battle that will involve giving their everything will start from now on and only the best will be selected.
The upcoming movie Hyotei Vs Rikkai will tell an original story of a match between these two schools. Konomi will supervise the match and this is the first time that these two schools will face each other.
The New Prince of Tennis: Hyōtei vs. Rikkai Release Date
Yesterday the official twitter account of The New Prince Of Tennis anime revealed that the upcoming movie Hyotei Vs Rikkai: Game of future will be released in two parts in February and March 2021. Now, the release format of the anime is still yet to be revealed but just by looking at the tweet we can say that it will be a theatrical release, but we have to wait for the official announcement to be sure about anything. We will update you as soon as we get some new information. The tweet also posted a teaser visual of the upcoming anime.

The New Prince of Tennis: Hyōtei vs. Rikkai Staff
As of now the cast of the anime is yet to be revealed, but the cast might be the same as of 2012 anime, but nothing is confirmed yet, we will update you as soon as something is announced.
The anime is directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, with Mitsiaka Hirota handling the script and character designing is being handled by Akiharu Ishii. The anime might stream on Crunchyroll as the Prince Of Tennis II was also streamed on Crunchyroll as it was aired in Japan. But, we just have to wait for the official announcement to get anything confirmed.
