The Promised Neverland Season 2, New Preview, Release Date, Plot, and Where To Watch?: A new promotional video for the upcoming season of ‘The Promised Neverland’ was released earlier today during the Jump Fiesta event. The Promised Neverland is a Japanese manga anime written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. The first season was a major hit, which was loved by everyone. The ending of the first season left the fans demanding more and now they are getting it.

The story is set in the year 2045, where Emma, an 11-year-old, lives with 37 other orphan kids. Their lives at the orphanage are exceptionally comfortable with good food, sleeping rooms, and a caring caretaker Isabella. Emma is best friends with two friends named Ray and Norman. But everything changes when they found one of their friends Conny, dead while getting adopted. The dark truth behind the orphanage reveals that it is up to Emma, Ray, and Norman to save everyone. Their whole life and existence are at stake.

As the horrors of the orphanage come to reality in front of Emma on how the kids are butchered after they are grown and fed to the demons, she plans an escape with the other siblings. Here demons mean the higher living species of the outside world. We will see the escape and what brings up for them later on, which will be a thrilling experience for the viewers.

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Release Date

The second season was set to be released on October 21, 2020, but was delayed due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. The new teaser revealed the new release date of the anime, which is January 7, 2021. January 2021 is a big month for anime now, as most of the big-name anime will release in that month.

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Cast

The cast will be the same as the first season with no new announcement as of now.  Sumire Morohoshi will return as Emma, Nao Fujita will reprise her role of Krone with Mariya Ise, Maaya Uchida, and Yuko Kaida returning as Ray, Norman, and Isabella respectively.

Momoru Kanbe is directing the series and Toshiya Ono will be the writer. Takahiro Obata will handle the music with Kazuaki Shimada handling character designs.

A second promotional video was released at the Jump Fiesta event earlier today. The trailer confirmed that the second season will be darker than the first one. So, get ready for another nerve-wracking season and hope for a better ending than the first one.

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Where To Watch?

The first season was streamed on Aniplex, Crunchyroll, Hulu, Funimation, and HIDIVE. Toonami also streamed the show a few months after its release. Netflix also acquired the right to stream the show later on. Season 2 will have similar streaming options. So all of us will have a lot of alternatives to watch the show.
