TN Class 10th Result 2020 Date & Time: Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TN DGE) is going to announce the TN SSLC Result 2020 soon. Once declared, the result will be available on TN DGE’s official websites viz. dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in, dge2.tn.nic.in. TN Education Minister, K.A. Sengottaiyan, himself has confirmed the news about the announcement of the TN class 10th result 2020.

If the buzz is to be believed then the students who are eagerly waiting for their TN SSLC result will be able to get it by August 7, 2020. Students can check their TN 10th Result 2020 by using their roll number and date-of-birth. The online result will be provisional in nature and the students will be required to collect their original marks sheet from their respective schools.

Earlier, the TN board has canceled the remaining examinations which were left due to the COVID-19 lockdown and decided to promote the students in these subjects on the basis of their performance in quarterly and half-yearly exams along with considering the attendance.
It was decided that 80% weightage will be given to marks obtained by the student in quarterly and half-yearly assessment tests while 20% weightage will be given to his/her attendance.
Tamil Nadu Class 10th Result 2020
The Tamil Nadu Board has conducted the TN Class 10th exams 2020 from March 27 to April 13, 2020, with more than 9 lakh students appearing for the TN SSLC exams this year from the state. The TN SSLC result 2020 was earlier slated to be announced by April end, however, it was delayed in the wake of coronavirus crisis.
TN DGE has earlier announced the TN HSE +1 and TN HSE +2 results for classes 11th and 12th in online mode. The TN class 12th was announced on July 16, 2020.

- Click on the link of ‘SSLC Exam – March 2020 Results’
- Enter the registration number and date-of-birth
- The result will appear on the screen. Check for any discrepancy
- Save and download the result
- Take a print copy of the same and secure it for future
The students will also receive their marks on their registered mobile number via SMS.
Steps to check TN SSLC Result 2020 via App:
Students can also access their TN SSLC result in 2020 using the app by following the below-mentioned steps:
- Download the TN SSLC Result app on your smartphone
- Visit the Results link in the app
- Enter credentials like Date of Birth and registration number
- Click on Submit
- The Tamil Nadu class 10th SSLC Results 2020 will appear on the screen
Re-evaluation/ Re-totalling:
If any student is dissatisfied with the marks obtained by them then the TN Board gives you the opportunity to apply for re-totaling or re-evaluation of TN Class 10th result 2020. Once the result is declared, students can apply for re-evaluation by filling the form available online along with Rs. 250 as the fee.
Supplementary exams:
If any student fails in 1-2 subjects, then the TN board gives them the opportunity to save their year by applying for the supplementary examinations. Students need to apply through their respective schools by filling the form along with application fee. The supplementary exams will be held in August and the result will also be declared probably in August only.
