A retired Green Beret running for Congress, Joe Kent, proclaimed on December 28th that none other than president emeritus Trump will be hosting a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago to support his electoral campaign.
Kent is running against Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Wash, in Washington’s 3rd congressional district.
The event has garnered heightened interest. President emeritus Trump’s reinforcement and endorsements are crucial in the 2022 primaries for Republican contenders.
Significance of the event for Kent’s election campaign
With this event, Joe Kent gets an opportunity to amass support for his bid to unseat Congresswoman Beutler in Washington’s 3rd district.
It is also sure to raise considerable financial support that will be necessary for Kent to have a legitimate chance against the current, already established Republican at the helm of public management at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump endorses Kent to one up against Republican traitor Beutler
Trump endorsed Joe Kent in September 2021, saying, “Joe Kent has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” He hailed Kent as “A warrior for the America First agenda, unlike Jaime Herrera Beutler, who voted, despite the facts, against the Republican Party and for the Democrats’ Impeachment Scam.”
Kent expressed his gratefulness for the endorsement on Twitter, saying:
“Thank you very much, President Trump! I’m honored & ready to take our country back! Join our movement here.
With this endorsement, Trump has introduced a robust Republican contender as an alternative to Rep. Beutler, who is looked down upon as a Republican black sheep because of her solidarity with the impeachment campaign against Mr. Trump.
Trump played a similar card with the endorsement of Mike Dunleavy recently to force Republican Murkowski to recede into the shadows in the 2022 primary.
‘Hell hath no fury as Trump scorned.’
Trump’s MAGA base is tenacious to replace the 10 U.S. House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump in January 2021 with strong conservative candidates who promote America’s first agenda.
Beutler, who was also among those Republicans who voted to impeach Trump, could face backlash from Republican voters in the 2022 primaries.

This fundraiser is bound to give the enormous Republican vote bank at Mar-a-Lago something to look forward to. It is one of the many campaign events lined up by Mr. Trump ahead of the 2022 primaries.
