John Ratcliffe, who served as the Director of National Intelligence under former President Donald Trump, sat down in conversation with host Charlie Kirk of the conservative radio talk show, The Charlie Kirk Show, on Wednesday, April 20, to discuss and “cut through the legal fog of the Special Counsel investigation”, looking into the Russiagate political conspiracy of 2016.

“There was fake Russian collusion”

According to John Ratcliffe, after he was appointed as the head of the intelligence community, he found out the truth about the “so-called Russian collusion”, and that there was no actual Russian collusion, but a fake one.

“Before becoming the Director of National Intelligence, I served for almost six years in the House of Representatives and so it was really at the tip of the spear about all of the Russiagate or the Russian collusion allegations Democrats and the media and all of that, and then when I became DNI in early 2020, one of the first things that I did was I said ‘Listen, now that I am head of intelligence community, I wanna see everything that we’ve got on this so-called Russian collusion.” -Ratcliffe said.

He then proceeds to declare that there was no actual Russiagate collusion and it was all fake. “Really that’s kind of where all of this starts, and my relations with John Durham who had already been appointed special counsel there, and I had a number of documents there in the intelligence community that showed that there was no Russian collusion, but that there was fake Russian collusion.” -he added.

Ratcliffe says they had evidence of who was involved, and that it was Hillary Clinton’s campaign that had started the hoax.

“We had collected good intelligence indicating who was involved in the origins of the Russiagate hoax, and it was in fact the Hillary Clinton campaign that had started these fake Russian allegations”.

“There’s more indictments coming”

Further in the interview, John Ratcliffe says that he declassified the notes from CIA Director John Brendon’s notes, and shared them with John Durham, to help him get to the bottom of how the rumours began circulating. According to Ratcliffe, there were a lot more people involved, and he’s expecting more indictments.

“One of the first things that I did was declassify those notes and shared that intelligence and other intelligence with John Durham to allow him to get to the truth of how did this all start, not just in an effort to influence the outcome of the 2016 election but carried on throughout the Trump presidency.” -Ratcliffe said. “I guess what I want to communicate there is I always felt that there were a lot of people responsible for what was a hoax perpetrated on the American public intending to mislead them about Donald Trump and relations with Russians that did not exist, and Michael Sussman is just one of many people…I expect that there will be a lot more indictments to be forthcoming from John Durham”. -he added.
