Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28th July 2020 Today Episode Written Updates: The episode begins with Kartik explaining the accident to Naira that it happened yesterday, however, he didn’t want to tell her as he wants to see her smiling face and asks for forgiveness. He adds that the man came in between suddenly which scared him and he ran away. Naira doesn’t believe him and asks him to recall well about the incident while Kartik asks to let him go.
Naira tells the inspector that Kartik is innocent while Kartik accepts the crime. He then gets angry and pushes Naira while closing the door and leaving. Naira keeps on pleading to talk to her and opens the door while Inspector asks him to hurry up. As soon as Naira gives him Kairav’s promise he opens the door.

Naira could only see Kartik leaving with the police while leaving his coat behind. Everyone starts crying while Kartik asking for their forgiveness while crying. Naira decides to find out the truth. Suwarna calls the lawyer.
In the police station, the inspector asks Kartik to sit so that they can record his statement while Naira reaches there and asks to meet him as it’s his right. Inspector tells her that Kartik himself has declined to meet anyone. Further, Kartik has confessed his crime and refused to get bail, and hence he is unable to help her. Naira gets shocked and wondered if the accident is real or not and feels something is fishy.
Kaira recalls their moments while Suhasini prays to God to protect Kartik while Suwarna consoles her. Kairav asks about his parents to which Suwarna tells him that he is out for some work to which he says that he will wait.
In the police station, a lady asks the inspector to punish Kartik as her son is very serious in the hospital. The inspector tells her that a good man has taken him to the hospital and saved. Naira says that Kartik can’t do this and she needs to talk to him.
While Akhilesh revealed that the guy is in comma, Manish reveals that Kartik has accepted it, while Naira asks them to engage the inspector. Naira manages to meet Kartik. He gets angry to see her and warned her to leave or he will hurt himself. Inspector interrupts and asks her to leave.

Naira cries and wonders why Kartik is not telling her anything. She receives a message from the garage and gets amused that how it can happen that with such a major accident, the car has received no damage.
Meanwhile, Akhilesh and Manish reached back their home and explains that Kartik neither want to meet anyone nor is listening to Naira. The family gets worried as the lawyer informs them that if Kartik will keep confessing like this, it would be difficult to save him. Naira says that she knows that Kartik is willingly framing himself in this case, however, she won’t let it happen and save him. Episode ends.
