Angela has been a native of Michigan since her birth. She completed her school in Hastings, Michigan.
As a history enthusiast, Rigas visits several historical sites. She likes to have a detailed view of the civil war and the war of independence from these sites. Rigas’ official website says that she is “Defender of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.”
The site also states Rigas to be the voice of the voiceless students, children, and veterans.
Angela Rigas Husband and Family
Rigas lives with her husband Dave and their four children in the Alto Area of Kent County, Michigan.
Angela Rigas political career
In 2014, the Michigan House of Representatives election took place. Rigas challenged Posthumus Lyons in Republican Primary. However, Rigas was defeated.
Lyons defeated democrat Lynn Mason at the general elections with 65.8% votes. In the Republican Primary, Angela got 29.1% votes totaling 3069 votes.
In 2020, The Michigan Governor ordered the citizens to stay home due to the COVID cases surge. Salons and Barbering were considered nonessential businesses. This led to the closure of their works.
Seven barbers were punished for cutting hair, considering it an illegal occupation. This led to a protest by the Republican coalition, where more than 300 people came and gave free hair-cuts.
Angela Rigas was one of the protesters. She got ticketed for not stopping to give hair-cuts. She said, “We’re all here for the same reason today — to show the governor that our rights do not come from her and that we need to open Michigan. People need to get back to work,”
Attacking the US Capitol
When Trump repeatedly made claims of a stolen election in 2020, thousands of Trump supporters attacked the US Capitol.
Rigas was one of the Republicans who participated in the attack. When asked why she went to the attack, she said she only went “because we love our country.”
She also added, “I didn’t go to DC with the idea that suddenly this (election) was all going to be overturned or anything like that.” She also had to face tear gas when she alleged that they (Trump Supporters) were not even attacking or fighting.
Rigas also said, “I didn’t expect to be called an insurrectionist or a terrorist or even a treasonist,” “I have to say, looking at things now, I consider all of those terms a compliment because our Founding Fathers were called all the same things. So if you want to call me that, I’ll take it.”
Angela Rigas Age
Angela Rigas’s age is unknown as there is no information about her birth date.
Trump endorses Angela Rigas:
The former US President backed Angela Rigas after she announced her candidacy. Rigas is running for House Representative elections for the 86th district of Michigan.
Expending his support to Rigas, Donald Trump, in a statement, said, I love people who love America and who know we have to fight the Deep State to take America back. We need great leaders to rise and continue that fight for our values. Angela Rigas is a committed fighter! She is a champion for America First and documenting the 2020 Voter Fraud and is a unique American. She embodies the spirit that made America great, and it is no surprise to me that she’s related to Revolutionary War Heroes. Mom of four boys, Angela stood toe to toe in court against Michigan’s disgraced shutdown Governor Gretchen Whitmer and crazed Attorney General Dana Nessel. She’s not afraid to fight and not afraid to lead. That’s exactly what Michigan needs right now. I wholeheartedly Endorse Angela Rigas for Michigan State Representative!
In addition to this endorsement for conservative “patriot” Angela Rigas, Trump endorsed Byron Donalds.
The Twitter handle, Trump war zone, stated Donalds to be “a terrific advocate for the people of Florida and our Country” and had Trump’s “Complete and Total Endorsement.”
