Let’s read the news and learn what the President said incorrectly.

Biden Says Putin ‘Losing War In Iraq’ In Latest Mishap

On Wednesday, United States President Joe Biden said Vladimir Putin was losing the ‘war in Iraq’ when he should have said Ukraine.

Biden was on a day trip to Chicago, where the President delivered a major speech on his economic policies at South Lawn. After his address, one of the reporters asked Biden whether Russia’s Vladimir Putin is weakened after a short mutiny by Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin.

Answering the question, Biden said,” It is hard to tell, but Putin is clearly losing the war in Iraq. He is losing the war at home, and he has become a bit of a pariah around the world.”

The President reportedly made a similar mistake on Tuesday while speaking to a Chevy Chase, Maryland fundraiser, when he said,” Think about this. If anybody told you, and my staff was not so sure, either that we would be able to bring all of Europe together in the onslaught on Iraq and get NATO to be completely united, I think they would have told you it is not likely. The one thing Putin counted on was being able to split NATO.”

Biden’s two consecutive blunders have made people question his mental fitness. Also, President’s Wednesday’s mistake has been one of many that amazed people.

Last week, Biden concluded his speech at the National Safer Communities Summit in Connecticut by saying “God Save the Queen, man” when the phrase should be “God save the King” after the death of the Queen last September at 96. Even though he attended her funeral, the President seemed to forget the Queen’s death.

In another event in September last year, Biden asked, “Where is Jackie?” and began searching the crowd for the late Indiana Representative Jackie Walorski, who reportedly died in a car accident, despite he offered his condolences by calling her family after her departure.

In November, Biden ended a press conference after saying Russian armies were pulling out of Fallujah, a city in Iraq, while he intended to say the city of Kherson in southeastern Ukraine.

Biden shouted, "My new best friend, the prime minister of a little country that is now the largest in the world, China."

In his recent remark, when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the United States, Biden shouted, “My new best friend, the prime minister of a little country that is now the largest in the world, China.” The President then corrected his mistake and said,” I mean, excuse me, India.”

Biden’s series of mistakes, who is also the Democratic Party’s candidate for the 2024 presidential election, shows he has long been prone to misspeaking, rendering his mental ability a major campaign issue.

Biden, 80, is the oldest sitting President in U.S. history and would be 82 if re-elected for a second term. He will be 86 if he completes a full second term in office.

His rival and the Republican presidential front-runner, former president Donald Trump turned 77 this year and would be 79 if he wins the general election in 2024 and would be 82 upon leaving the office.
