Black Clover anime has been one of the best Shounen anime of recent times. The manga is already really popular among fans. The stellar storytelling has been amazing and fans really loved it. Fans were sometimes not impressed with the animation of the anime. But all of it can be looked aside considering how many great moments anime gave us. Moments like Black Bulls going to save Final from his brother, Asta suddenly appearing in front of the demon, and many more. All these moments have a special place in everyone’s heart. Sales Issues
Now, we know that shounen anime tends to run for a really long period. Examples like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, and much other anime. There were rumours about Black Clover being cancelled because of the sales. Black Clover doesn’t really have a problem in the sales department as the manga has been one of the best sellers. And anime is also doing well according to Crunchyroll. But these numbers are declining slightly. In 2018, Black Clover manga was top 10 in sales but the numbers have declined since then. It is still one of the most famous manga so it doesn’t look like that is the case.
Problems with Studio
Another thing that might result in the cancellation of Black Clover is the production House. Now, this is no dig at them, it’s just that Pierrot Studio is not that big of a production house and they have a limited staff. There have also been multiple digs at Pierrot Studio and their management. Various sources have stated that Pierrot Studio is poorly managed. Pierrot Studio might be the largest privately owned studio after JC Staff so it is difficult to find information on their inner workings. The rumours are of Pierrot Studio moving on to some new projects because of the creative difference between manga and anime. It has also been rumoured that Tatsuya Yoshihara, Director Of Black Clover, is not getting any support from the production house too.
New Beginning
Now there has not been any official announcement regarding the cancellation of the anime and furthermore a new arc has also been announced. The new arc will focus on an anime original story. It will feature two anime original characters Dazuu Tayak and Bow Nokde. It will focus on people who hate Devils and hope that they perish. Himika Akaneya will play the character of Dazuu Tayak and Sayaka Kinoshita will play the character of Bow Nokde.
Possibilities
The news of the cancellation of the manga is also somewhat of our fault. Fans are so demanding and want a new episode every week. With the staff that Perriot got, it is really hard for them to keep up. If the rumours of cancellation are real it is really sad news for all the fans. But we don’t think it will really happen. The one thing that can happen is that Balck Clover will go on a break and will return with a new production house. Just like One Piece and Naruto Shippuden. It will give enough time to the manga to go on ahead and will solve all the production house problems of Black Clover. Nothing is for sure now and we will update you as soon as we will get some information.
