Bo Hines is an American Football Player who is running for election to represent the North Carolina State in the U.S House. He is a candidate for the United States House of Representatives as a Republican.

Bo Hines has been active from a very early age. He started as an American Football player. And is now ready to test his luck in the election this time around. He played college football for the NC State Wolfpack and Yale Bulldogs.

His full name is Robert “Bo” Hines. He could have played professionally but injuries and his desire to do something more for Carolina motivated him to join politics.

Robert was born on August 29, 1995, and is currently 26 years old only. He is pretty young and is already leaving his mark in the political world. Which is nothing short of impressive.

He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, US, and was raised there only. His star sign is Libra.

Bo Hines Education

Hines started playing American Football when he was 6 years old. He completed his primary education at Charlotte Christian School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He used to play as a Wide Receiver here.

He earned a scholarship at North Carolina State University to play college football for the NC State Wolfpack. He led the team during the 2014 St. Petersburg Bowl. After that, he enrolled at Yale University because of his interest in politics.

After that, he enrolled himself in  Wake Forest University School of Law in 2017 to complete his law degree.

Bo Hines Footballing Career

Robert led NC State with 45 receptions and 616 receiving yards. He was one of the most outstanding players of that season. He justified the scholarship given to him with flying colors.

But his footballing career at Yale University was not that bright because of the injuries. He played four games for Yale Bulldogs in the 2015 season before suffering a grade IV separated shoulder that required surgery.

He missed the entire 2016 season because of a broken collarbone. And in 2017, in his final year at Yale University, he tried to come back, But in the end, he announced his retirement instead.

Bo Hines Political Career

After his college got over, he started working in the offices of Eric Holcomb, the governor of Indiana, and Mike Rounds, a U.S. Senator from South Dakota in 2017. He enrolled in the Wake Forest University of Law during this time only.

After getting some experience, in 2021, he announced that he will run as a Republican for the United States House of Representatives in North Carolina’s 5th congressional district, held by Republican Virginia Foxx.

Donald Trump has also supported Hines and said that he will endorse his campaign if he decides to run in North Carolina’s 4th congressional district instead of 5th.

Bo Hines Family

Robert’s father, Todd Hines was also a football player. He used to play for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.

Hines got married in 2017 to Olivia Andretti. Even though they don’t have kids yet, Robert has told his wife that he can’t wait to start a family in North Carolina only.

As a football player, it is quite obvious that he has a very fit body. Even after retiring, Robert has maintained a good physique.Robert is 6’1 feet or 185 cm tall. He weighs around 93 kg and has a very good physique.
