Comcast business has increased the internet speed worldwide at no additional cost. Additionally, they introduced their fastest Internet plan, Ultimate Speed for Business, which will offer thrice the normal speed.
Along with this, they also announced the roll-out of next-generation multi-gigabit symmetrical business Internet speeds for their selected markets.
However, Comcast Business customers can take advantage of the Ultimate Speed for Business plan with faster download speen in existing tier plans:
- Essential plan: 50 Mbps-150 Mbps download speed
- Standard plan: 100 Mbps to 300 Mbps download speed
- Performance plan: 250 Mbps to 500 Mbps download speed
- Advanced plan: 500 Mbps to 800 Mbps download speed
- Upload speed has also been increased for Gigabit Extra and 2 Gigabit plans

Highlights of next-generation multi-gigabit symmetrical business Internet speeds
Comcast will release a new range of high-speed internet products utilizing DOCSIS 4.0 technology (which enables faster and more reliable internet connections) under its multi-gigabit plan, which will offer equal upload and download speeds.
Comcast is planning to implement network technology named “Full Duplex,” which allows for significant increases in upload speeds without compromising download speeds.
Atlanta, GA; Colorado Springs, CO; and Philadelphia, PA are the current selected areas by Comcast Business for their deployment of next-generation symmetrical Internet.
They are also planning to expand their service to additional markets across the country over the next few years.
