The neighbouring country Pakistan is celebrating its 74th independence day or birth anniversary today i.e. on August 14, 2020. In terms of its age, the country is still young and so much more is required to be done.
Pakistan is joyous today and the green and white flag of the country is fluttering all across the country including homes, offices, Twitter, vehicles, TV and hands of people. Pakistani citizens are celebrating the day with the feeling of patriotism and the flag fluttering in their heart.

Happy 74th Birthday to Pakistan
On its 74th birth anniversary, Pakistan has achieved a lot and has come quite far. However, there is much more on which the country is working on and needs to achieve. The 220 million Pakistanis are also working to the best of their capability to make the dreams of the country’s founder Jinnah come true.
The country’s founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah has promised at the time of the creation of the country which says, “You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place or worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed–that has nothing to do with the business of the State.”
With the news that keeps surfacing about the discrimination, cruelty and violence among the country’s citizens. However, it seems that there is much to be done to accomplish the promise of Jinnah.

Meanwhile, the country has also done a lot for the citizens of Pakistan as well as Afghan refugees. Pakistan has given security and home to millions of Afghan refugees. They were compelled to leave their home and were devastated.
In the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan is working continuously to construct a framework which will have peace, prosperity, opportunity, equality, and accountability in it. We know that the change doesn’t come overnight, however, with a focus on the betterment of Pakistan a step will matter a lot in itself.
As Paulo Coelho said, “Making of a glorious country is not an act of alchemy. It is a series of steps that a government takes to solve the short and long-term issues beleaguering a country’s growth.” Hence, only after reaching the first step, the next step will be taken. This will bring Pakistan closer to the destination.
Pakistan is facing a lot of issues like poverty, weak economy among others and is struggling to overcome these. The country is also working in the direction of not having a war-like situation and even war with the neighbouring countries. Pakistan is also standing with Kashmiris in full solidarity to support their peaceful protest.
The dream of every Pakistani and even its founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah is represented by its flag depicting green and white flag, decorated with a crescent and a star. A country which will not differentiate among its citizens based on their religion, caste, colour or creed. Pakistan which will have a single law for all its citizens.
A country in which the safety of everyone is ensured. A homeland that will entitle food, shelter, education, healthcare facilities, justice and equality in opportunities. A country which will take every individual along with it while working towards the betterment of the country.
