Most Anticipated Anime Of 2021: 2020 is almost over now and with the Corona pandemic, most of the release of this year has been shifted to next year, so next year is going to be bright for anime fans. Many sequels are going to come in 2021, so let’s look at the most anticipated anime that are going to come out next year.

  1. The Rising Of Shield Hero Season 2- The Rising Of Shield Hero was the sleeper hit of 2020. Nobody expected that the anime will fo this good on a worldwide scale, but the anime was a big hit and fans really loved it and now that the second season is on its way it might be one of the biggest anime of next year. The anime was set to be released in 2020, but due to the COVID pandemic, it has been delayed to 2021. The date is yet to be revealed but the anime will come out in 2021.   2. The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Part 2- Another Isekai anime whose second season was supposed to release in 2020 but has been delayed to January 2021 due to COVID-19. The anime will be a two-cour anime with the second half being pushed back to July 2021. The anime was loved because of the unusual plot it had.   3. Shankunetsu Kabaddi – A good news for Indian Weebs is that a sports anime based on Indian National Sport is going to come out in 2021. It will be based on the manga of same name. The anime was announced last month and fas were really hyped about it. The Anime industry had a really big fanbase in India too and getting this anime is really motivating for them.   4. Megalo Box 2 – Megalo Box was a banger of an anime.  Sports fan loved it, Non-Sports fan loved it. Now the series is set to premiere its second season. The second season was set to release on November 16, 2019. But due to COVID-Pandemic, the series will now premiere in Early 2021, with specific date yet to be revealed.   5. Uzumaki – Uzumaki might be the most creepy manga that has been adapted into an anime. It is a Junjo Ito masterclass. The manga had a decent run from 1998 to 1999. It got real recognition after it’s worldwide release when it got nominated for Eisner Award in 2003. Uzumaki might not be the best horror in terms of story but in terms of artwork, it is regarded as one of the best. In 2019, it was announced that Uzumaki will get a mini-anime adaptation in 2020. The release date was not revealed. But on 26 July, 2020 it was announced that the anime will be postponed and will release in 2021.   6. Tokyo Revengers –  Tokyo Revengers is one of the best-growing action manga right now. Tokyo Revengers is not only action genre anime but it also has subplots of romance and drama. The anime was set to be released late this year but due to the pandemic that we are in it was inevitably delayed but now but a few days back a teaser was released confirming the new release date of the anime and the teaser was looking really nice and anime might be one to look forward too. The anime will start airing in 2021. No actual date or month has been revealed, but it looks like it will start somewhat in April or May.
  7. Dr.Stone: The Stone Wars – Earlier this year season of Dr.Stone was announced by Crunchyroll. It was announced that the fan-favorite anime will make its comeback in January 2021. But given the current circumstances of the world and with season 1 coming out just last year fans were expecting some more wait before season 2.   8. My Hero Academia Season 5 – My Hero Academia was just getting good. The cliffhanger of Season 4 Finale left many fans in awe and desperate for next season, but fans have to wait some more for the season 5.   9. Bleach Thousand Years Blood War – The one part of the holy trio of Shounen Jump is coming back in 2021. The anime was going to release in 2020 but due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the anime will come out in 2021 now. The release date has not yet confirmed yet, but it will soon be revealed. The announcement video was released on March 2020 which revealed that the anime will make a comeback.
  10. Attack On Titan Final Season – Attack On Titan Season 4 was scheduled to release in fall 2020. Fans started suspecting things when animate times removed the season from the fall release date, but a few days ago it was officially announced. Now, we will get the final season in Early 2021.
