Mumbai: Pakistan team announced for England tour, Pakistan will tour England in August-September. The Pakistan Cricket Board on Friday announced a 29-member squad for the tour for 3 Tests and 3 T20I matches. 

Haider Ali, a rookie, made his debut for Pakistan in local cricket.

The selection committee has also named former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed in the Squad. 

Sarfaraz last played his match in October 2019. Fast bowler Sohail Khan has returned to the national team after four years he last performed in 2017.

Haider had a strong performance in the year 2019-20. He was the second-highest run-scorer for Pakistan in the Under-19 World Cup. 

Besides Haider Ali, Kashif Bhatti is added to the Squad. Kashif was selected for the series against Australia and Sri Lanka. However, he did not get a chance to play in the match.

While Mohammad Amir will not be touring England as he will be a father for the second time, Harris Sohail has decided not to visit England due to the increasing prevalence of corona.
